The Hong Kong Film Festival (Australia) was founded in 2024 and is now returning in July 2025!
The festival aims to celebrate the rich and diverse cinematic culture of Hong Kong by showcasing a selection of feature films and short films by Hong Kong filmmakers. Join us in celebrating the best of Hong Kong cinema with an exciting line-up of films and events.

參賽資格：
任何在短片製作中擔任重要角色的香港人，包括導演、編劇、製片、攝影師或主演演員。
我們鼓勵所有在電影創作中積極參與的人士提交作品。
作品要求：
時長： 15分鐘以內
完成日期： 2024年至2025年
類型： 不限，劇情片、喜劇、紀錄片、實驗片等皆可
報名費用：
AUD$10
提交截止日期：
2025年4月30日
評審： 香港新晉導演何爵天擔任本次大賽的評審。何導演憑藉執導電影《正義迴廊》榮獲第41屆香港電影金像獎新晉導演獎，
作品深受觀眾喜愛。

Eligibility:
Open to all Hong Kongers who have played a key role in the production of the short film, including directors, scriptwriters, producers,
cinematographers, or leading actors/actresses. We encourage submissions from those actively contributing to the creative aspects of
filmmaking.
Submission Requirements:
Duration: Within 15 minutes
Completion Date: Between 2024 and 2025
Genre: All genres welcome, including drama, comedy, documentary, experimental, etc.
Entry Fee: AUD$10
Submission Deadline: April 30, 2025
Judge: We are honored to have Hong Kong‘s emerging director, Ho Cheuk-Tin, as our judge. Director Ho won the Best New Director award at
the 41st Hong Kong Film Awards for his film ”The Sparring Partner,“ which has been highly acclaimed by audiences.
Participant Note:
Please briefly describe your connection to Hong Kong when registering, such as whether you were born in Hong Kong, have lived in Hong Kong,
or have close ties to Hong Kong.
